Role responsibilities

  • Follow test plans, liaise with team members to identify and articulate issues found and keep quality consistently high.
  • Ensure our games run efficiently and bug free across a number of mobile platforms and devices.
  • Measure the functionality of a game against its design specification.
  • Investigate submitted bugs sent in by our players and articulate how to reproduce them.
  • Work with Leads and Team Members to sign off on build quality ahead of releases.
  • Help organize, and set up test sessions with other departments.
  • Communicate bug statuses with developers throughout the studio.
  • Communicate daily bug reports to Leads and Management during Stand-ups.
  • Prioritise and categories bugs based on severity and frequency.
  • Build up a deep understanding of the product and long term QA trends.

Major pluses

  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla or JIRA.
  • Some design, programming or art skills.
  • Worked with Agile based development processes.
  • An interest in fashion.
  • An interest in AR & VR technology.
  • Logical and analytical problem solving skills.
  • Able to work from our Nottingham office.
